During this meeting, initiatlly professor Anna planned to talk about the most efficient ways to study at the university and about the meaning of success in the life of the student. However, students had many other issues to share. First, they had several questions about the assignment for the course 大學學習。 Later, we were talking about our department. Students discussed its advantages but also problems they experience. They all agree that the biggest problem is English. Even though the students attending the meeting speak English quite well, three of them admitted that they prepare their assignments first in Chinese and only then translate them into English. Professor Anna, referring to her own experience of studying abroad during high school, encouraged them to directly think and write in English. The students admitted that problems with English may influence decision of some students to change the department to the one offering courses in Chinese. Students also shared with each other what they like about our department and about courses. Finally, we talked about the efficient ways to study at the university with a focus on the notetaking.
在這次活動中，原本教授安娜計劃討論在大學中最有效率的學習方法以及成功對學生生活的意義。然而，學生們有許多其他問題要分享。首先，他們對課程《大學學習》的作業有許多疑問。之後，我們討論了系所的情況。學生們談到了系所的優點，也提到了他們遇到的問題。他們一致認為最大的問題是英文。
儘管參加活動的學生們英文能力相當不錯，其中三位學生坦言，他們習慣先用中文準備作業，然後再翻譯成英文。安娜教授提到她高中時期在國外留學的經驗，鼓勵學生直接用英文思考和寫作。學生們也承認，英文能力的挑戰可能會導致部分學生考慮轉到以中文授課的系所。
此外，學生們彼此分享了對系所及課程的喜愛之處。最後，我們專注於討論在大學中高效學習的方法，特別是如何做好筆記。
