這學期系上特別邀請了兩位畢業學長姊回到母系，與學弟妹們分享他們在職場上的寶貴經驗與成長歷程。活動將於 11 月 26 日（星期三）晚間 18:30 至 20:30 舉行，主題聚焦在如何將在校所學融入實際工作中，以及不同職業所需具備的專業技能、外語能力與證照條件。
第一位講者是 陳彥甫學長（槍哥），目前擔任賓士軍車部門的銷售主管。學長於 2012 年赴美至加州州立大學沙加緬度分校（CSUS）留學，並於 2014 年自淡江大學戰略研究所畢業。這次他將以自身的經驗，分享在高端汽車產業中的專業實務與挑戰，並談談在外商體系中如何發揮戰略思維與國際視野。
第二位講者是 宋宜璇學姊（Christina），現於貿易公司任職並自營事業。她於 2012 至 2013 年間前往加州州立大學沙加緬度分校CSUS 交換，2016 年自淡江大學臺灣與亞太研究全英語碩士畢業。學姊熱愛旅遊，長年旅居美國，曾花費兩年半的時間開著房車環遊美國，足跡遍布 33 個國家。畢業後，她曾赴澳洲打工度假一年，回台後任職電子業業務，隨後轉入貿易與設計專利公司工作。這次講座中，她將分享跨國工作與自營事業的實務經驗，並談談如何在多元文化環境中持續成長與突破。 透過兩位講者的分享，期望同學們能從不同產業的視角中，了解職場的多元樣貌與挑戰，並思考如何將自身的專業學習轉化為實際行動與職涯方向。
Department Alumni Talk: How to Grow Your Career and Professional Life
The Department is excited to welcome back two amazing alumni this semester to talk to current students about their professional experiences and personal growth journeys.
The event will take place on Tuesday, November 25, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. It will focus on how to use what you learn in school in the real world and what language skills, professional skills, and certifications are needed for different careers.
Mr. John Chen,the Sales Manager for the Mercedes-Benz Military Vehicle Division. In 2012, he went to California State University, Sacramento (CSUS) to study abroad. In 2014, he got his Master's degree from the Graduate Institute of Strategic Studies at Tamkang University.
In this session, he will speak about what he has learned about the luxury car sector, including the professional problems and practices he has faced. He will also talk about how strategic thinking and an international perspective are important in foreign corporate settings.
Ms. Christina Sung, the second speaker, has her own firm and works in the trade market. From 2012 to 2013, she took part in an exchange program at CSUS. In 2016, she got her Master's degree in the English-taught Graduate Program of Taiwan and Asia-Pacific Studies at Tamkang University.
She loves to travel. She has lived in the U.S. for a long time and previously spent two and a half years traveling throughout the country in an RV, seeing 33 nations in all. After finishing school, she worked in Taiwan's electronics industry before moving on to international commerce and patent design.
In this session, she will talk about her professional and business experiences across borders, as well as how to grow and survive in surroundings with people from other cultures.
By sharing these two alumni's stories, we hope that students will learn about the obstacles and possibilities in the professional world from different points of view and think about how to turn what they learn in school into real-life actions and career paths.
